GRAPHICS TRAINING (PC):- This can be provided on a one to one basis and is for customers (company staff or individuals) who wish to learn more about the processes involved in sign making. The course contents depend upon the clients needs but usually involves the following modules: scanning, bitmap to vector conversion, pure vector graphics, graphic design, outputting to printers, outputting to cutters, vinyl, cutting vinyl, lay-up, application, costing. Any or all modules can be chosen, courses are normally conducted during the evenings for private individuals and can be open -ended allowing students to work and train at their own pace. A good knowledge of PC's and Windows '95/ '98. is expected. The basics in Corel Draw is also an advantage.
ILLUMINATED SIGNAGE :- Usual stuff ! for external shop advertising signage : Aluminium light boxes with an opal acrylic or lexan TM. front and vinyl graphics. These can be manufactured to any size, single or double sided, mounted flat to a wall or provided with a bracket for 90 degree mounting. We even provide the high frequency transformers and flourescent tubes, all you have to do is plug the provided 13 A plug into a socket ! These light boxes are also very popular with Disco equipment manufacturers who ask for all sorts of wild graphics, holograms and glow in the dark (ultra violet) designs.
PIT BOARDS :- We can replace your old and faded pitboard numbers with brand new daygo characters, in neon pink, yellow, red and green. (or any colour of your choice). We also supply the graphics for pitboard header boards, these can simply be a name or logo or name and a flag. Unique to "The Custom Sign Co" is the addition of an unbreakable clear polycarbonate cover which the graphics are bonded behind, thus protecting them from damage.
PITS SIGNAGE :- We can supply most types of pits signage systems, even some of the old stuff, there is always plenty of second hand signage floating about. For people on tight budgets please look at using flexible banners, a very good way of covering a vast amount of space for a reasonable cost and little effort. Most race teams that don't buy new will purchase a "hand me down" set from a retiring or upgrading team, in this case the framework will be used but the foamex panels will need replacing or refurbishing. We have alot of experience in this field and welcome any enquiries for this service. We can provide and fit your new sponsor logos and team livery, or just simply supply panels or graphics.
