The easy way to apply vinyl graphics

#1. Ensure all surfaces are clean and dry, free from grease dust and silicone. Apply graphics only when ambient temperature is between +5° to 40°C. Beware of early morning dew and condensation, avoid windy dusty areas.
#2. Place entire graphic onto the surface to which it is to be applied, make sure it is in the correct position and that it is aligned to the horizontal or vertical and not sloping up or down. take two (or more if required) one inch lengths of masking tape and loosely tape in place along the side edges as shown:

#3 Check alignment, if ok then place another length of masking tape along the whole top edge of the graphic, half on half off. Once in place, run your finger over and along the seam to form a hinge. remove the two lengths of masking tape previously applied as these are no longer required.

#4. Flip the graphic up and remove the backing sheet ( with care ), the backing sheet is normally white with coloured print on the back and quite thick. throw away the backing sheet. At this stage you will be left with the vinyl lettering stuck to a semi-transparent top sheet known as the application sheet.

#5. Once all of the backing sheet has been removed, gently lower the application sheet back down , do not let it touch the surface, using a soft plastic applicator (or at a pinch use an old credit card !), gently rub the graphic down onto the surface starting at the top edge (hinge edge) and work down in an even manor, removing all air as you go.

#6. When all of the graphic is in place, rub over it once more, starting from the centre and working out. Then remove the application sheet, best done by peeling up one corner first and then pulling it slowly back upon itself ( remove the masking tape hinge at the same time), making sure your vinyl lettering is left behind Job done !
