Aluminium can be anodised to almost any colour and has for may years been very popular with the motorsport and aerospace industries. Not only does it look good but anodising also provides a hard scratch resistant, corrosion proof surface, ideal for extreme operating conditions. We can anodise flat plate in the following thicknesses: 0.2mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5 and 3 mm. Plate comes in three base finish types: standard brushed aluminium, polished aluminium, & gold. in our experience most engine plates, chassis plates and equipment fascias are produced in 1.5mm brushed aluminium with a single colour, normally black or dark blue text. multi colour work can be undertaken although there are some limitations. After anodising we then crop, punch and round all corners as required using workshop equipment. Ideal for equipment fascias, plant and machinery marking, pit equipment, manufacturers plates, chassis plates, engine plates, engine tags, engine re-badging.
